Erie is in Pennsylvania, in the Northeast, where four distinct seasons shape local life: hot humid summers, snowy winters that can close businesses for a day, and a dense pattern of towns where walking, transit and street parking all matter. Getting around Erie is easiest by car; street parking is metered in busy downtown areas, and most suburban businesses have their own lot. Ride-share apps such as Uber and Lyft operate across Pennsylvania's larger cities, and public transit varies from extensive to minimal.

Very fun place for dinner and drinks before seeing a show at the Warner Theatre. The mule I tried was good and the tacos were tasty. Much of the food I tried was spicy.

So we really wanted to love this place, however we were very disappointed after being so psyched to go there. Let me say that this place has a TON of potential! With the right entertainment (I've been a musician for 45 years), better food quality and better drinks, it could be really fun. Let's talk food; so the short rib was good not great but not disappointing. The Ribeye was thin and full of gristle. Would not recommend. Drinks; they are trying to get too cute with the drinks and they're just plain bad. I tried the Watermelon Margarita and it was horrible. Very little watermelon and a whole lot of lime. We can't even remember our second drinks because they too were not very tasty. Perhaps its just bad bartending, not sure but dont be cute. If you label it "Watermelon" or "Pear" that should be the main flavor, not lime. I think the Entertainment is the best part. They advertise Shani Bills playing and she is FANTASTIC! Go when she's there, stick to standard drinks and you'll love it.

While I did not try any food upon walking into what appears to be an older, maybe going out of business bookstore, you opened the middle bookcase and legitimately walk into a 1920s era speakeasy. I got the good fella and without a doubt one of my most favorite bourbon drinks I've had in my travels across the US this year. Everyone was awesome. The bartenders knew their stuff. They were Craftsmen of their art. I highly recommend this location

Totally loved!!! Always a great place to meet up for happy hour! Teas and some martinis and a great selection of mocktails and the Speakeasy vibe like prohibition is beyond the bookcase, which by the way carries a secret entrance to this Gadsby era and the stage! Entertainment on the weekends usually. Check website. Great vibe as well sat at the bar because we didn’t have reservations (recommend if you want a table)

Room 33 is truly something special. From the moment you walk in, you can tell how much care and intention goes into every detailβ€”from the atmosphere to the service to the overall experience. What stands out most is how the owners and team go above and beyond to make guests feel welcomed and appreciated. It’s not just about great cocktails (which they absolutely deliver), it’s about creating an environment where people feel valued and connected. It’s clear they genuinely care about their patrons and the community they’re building. Places like this are what make Erie such a great place to live. Highly recommend visitingβ€”whether it’s your first time or your fifteenth!
